Part of my rig breaks when I close and then reopen Adobe Animate [Layer Parenting bug, fixed in AA 22.0.7]

When I make an aimation with the human rig I have created, after I close and then reopen Adobe Animate, the hands on my rig don't animate correctly, and flip upsidown...  And I know I am saving before closing.

This problem has happened several times over the past few days.

Do you use Layer Parenting?

If no Layer Parenting or camera are involved, and you like, you can record a video of the issue and submit your FLA for inspection.

What you describe does not sound like a Smart Magnet Rig problem, but rather an issue with Animate.

Of course, if we can reproduce the issue, we will investigate what the causes might be.

Make sure to specify the exact version of Animate, EDAPT Tools and OS.

The problem happens when I use the layer parenting for clean up, then close Adobe Animate the reopen it.

Then it is to do with Layer Parenting, and not with SMR.

Layer Parenting is full of bugs.

[Edit, 3 April 2022] Here is a link to a thread on the Adobe forum, which seems to describe the same issue:

[Edit, Jul 2022] Adobe claim to have fixed the issue in Animate 22.0.7
