In the output what does "Probably missing element with ID "21", child of element with ID "1" on layer "Hip_Patch" mean?

I had used the analyze rig button and this came up in the output. What does this mean? Also is it a serious issue?

Hi Stasia,

This probably means that after you loaded the rig representation in SMR panel, you deleted an element of the rig, and the panel sees a node without a symbol instance for it.

It tells you that the missing element was a child of the instance with ID 1, which instance (ID 1) is located on Hip_Patch layer. The missing instance had ID 21.
Whether this is serious or not is difficult to know without knowing the exact context.

If you reload the rig representation and analyze again, it is likely that you will not see the error again.

An easy way to test is to move the Master Parent with the V-tool, then do a chain selection [ 1 ] and snap [ ` ]. Everything should snap in place. After that, it's also worth to do some posing in a different keyframe to make sure the elements behave as they should. The rig representation in SMR panel is another way of checking if the structure is correct.
