Can't I make a duplicate recursive of a transposed character?

Hello happy, I have a question...
Can't I make a duplicate recursive of a transposed character?
I made a duplicate recursive of my main character to make changes on it, but when I come to transposing the head, it gives me the option of the main character's head symbol (the one I used to duplicate recursive).
I made changes to the duplicate's colors, but still it shows me the the first head's ref when generating in the transposer panel, what should I do, should I re transpose the head again or is there another way to do, because I want the same face expressions, but different colors.
I had read the article, watched your transposing video series and tried the TP bunny, but didn't find a solution confused
and thanks again, I really value this tool happy

Hi Aliyah,

Thank you for reporting this!
It is definitely an omission on our end, which we hopefully will be able to address in a future update.

Here is a video which will show you how to deal with the TransPoser metadata conflict, arising from recursive duplication.

The process is quite simple:

  1. Remove TransPoser metadata from the duplicate REF and ANM in the Library.
  2. Set the duplicate REF as REF again.
  3. Then link the duplicate ANM timeline to the duplicate REF.

Hope this helps!

Update: This issue was fixed in EDAP Tools v.7.2.
