Tilda "snap" command not working in Animate CC [Keyboard Layout other than English US]

Hi,

When I try to snap edaptable symbols to each other using the Tilda shortcut command, it dosn't work in Adobe Animate and instead swaps out symbol I have selected for another in the Libary.

Hi James,

I already wrote to you a lengthy reply yesterday.
You should have checked that instead of double-posting.

 

However, what you say here provides additional information.
Clearly you are facing a keyboard layout issue where when pressing the key to the left of 1 you are producing ' instead of `, which executes Prev Or Next Symbol In Library command.

 

Either find on the keyboard which key produces `/~ and use that key to snap, or change your layout to English US from the OS settings.

It works now! As you suggested it was simply a case
of changing my keyboard to English US, thanks again
