Missing EDAP Tools in Flash CC 2015? A quick fix!

Edit: 17 Aug 2015.
With the release of EDAP Tools v.3 this article is now obsolete. We have switched to our own install script and are now independent from Extensions Manager and Adobe's mood swings.

Have you suddenly discovered that all your extra commands and panels, including EDAP Tools have disappeared from Flash?

Have you found out that even when you install them via Extensions Manager again, they don't show up?

Well… you are not alone!
And the reason for all these exciting findings is that you have just been updated to the latest and greatest Creative Cloud 2015!

With CC 2015 Adobe discontinued the development and support of Extensions Manager which results in the total lack of support for extensions and add-ons.

They are acknowledging the problem and promising a fix some day.

If you haven't updated to CC 2015 yet, our advice is to wait and be cautious.
Ideally you would keep the previous version and the update will not affect your work and deadlines.

While we are still investigating the issue and looking for an elegant solution, here are two variants for a quick fix that should allow you to use EDAP Tools with your newly updated Flash CC 2015, if you had already lost your commands and are distressed about losing precious functionality.

Aren't you excited? You got the bones back!
