Smart Layer Lock (SMR)

This is a multifunction command, part of the Smart Magnet Rig workflow

Functionality

1. Locks/unlocks all mask and masked layers to reveal the actual look of the masked.
2. Locks the layers of selected elements.
3. Locks layers down the SMR chains of selected elements.
4. Unlocks layers down the SMR chains of selected elements.

Specific interactions:

Transformers
With one Transformer selected, executing Smart Layer Lock Shift+F3(unlock down the SMR chains) will unlock the group's layers.
With one Transformer selected, executing Smart Layer Lock Ctrl+F3(lock down the SMR chains) will lock the group's layers.

IK Effectors
With one or more IK Effectors selected, executing Smart Layer Lock Shift+F3(unlock down the SMR chains) will unlock the corresponding IK Chains.
With one or more IK Effectors selected, executing Smart Layer Lock Ctrl+F3(lock down the SMR chains) will lock the corresponding IK Chains.

Suggested use

To quickly lock or unlock all mask and masked layers in the current timeline for accurate mask preview.
To easily lock layers in the timeline, based on a Stage selection.
